Paris Beauvais Tille Airport Arrivals (BVA)

Many budget airlines have flights to Paris Beauvais Airport. Some of these airlines include Blue Air, Wizz Air, Sterling and Ryanair. Beauvais Airport is considered to be the ‘low cost airport’ of Paris. Charles de Gaulle Airport is the largest in Paris, and Orly Airport is the second largest. Beauvais Airport follows these two as the ‘third’ airport and handles around two million passengers per year.

Ryanair, Wizz Air and Blue Air serve Beauvais Airport with flights mainly from Ireland, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.

Ryanair (the popular Irish budget carrier) is the airline that operates the largest number of flights to Beauvais Airport. It covers about three-quarters of the entire airport’s flight schedules. This airline is the main reason why the number of passengers to this airport has dramatically increased.

Ryanair has flights to Beauvais Airport from Dublin, Glasgow-Prestwick, Porto, Rome-Ciampino, Reus, Bournemouth, Alicante, Madrid, Marseille, Girona, Shannon, Valencia, Stockholm-Skavsta, Milan-Orio al Serio, Pisa and Venice-Treviso. These airport destinations are mostly similar to Beauvais Airport, as they are not the main airport of the region.

Beauvais Airport receives no transatlantic or intercontinental flights, although transatlantic passengers can fly to Shannon or Dublin airports first. Low cost carrier Ryanair can then continue the journey to Beauvais Airport. Cheaper tickets are usually available to these airports, especially on Aer Lingus.

There are some disadvantages in flying with low-cost airlines. European low-cost airlines often have severe luggage restrictions. If your luggage is over the weight allowance, then you may incur heavy charges. They also only offer point-to-point fights. Therefore, if your flight has a late arrival and your connection flight is missed; European budget airlines will not provide any refunds.

Paris Beauvais Airport is situated in the town of Tillé, a few miles from Beauvais, and about 55 miles from Paris. Taxi and bus shuttle transportation is available from the airport into Paris. Passengers can also take the Ter train to Paris; however, there is no train station at the airport. Transport by taxi will be required to Beauvais train station.

Beauvais Airport is only open from 6:30am to 11:30pm.

Additional tourism or transport information is available from help desk in the airport terminal.
